Fiverr Logo Maker vs Looka (2026): Prices, Files and Which One to Buy
Short answer: if you only want editable files at the lowest price, Looka's $65 Premium logo is the better deal. If you want a brand style guide and social media kit in the box, Fiverr Logo Maker's $60 Professional package is hard to beat. Here is how the two compare, line by line.

How we researched this: We did not place test orders. We compared Fiverr's own Logo Maker pricing page and help pages (checked October 8, 2026), Looka's official pricing page (checked October 9, 2026), and four independent price roundups from 2026. Where a number comes only from a third party, we say so. Prices change, so confirm at checkout.
Fiverr Logo Maker vs Looka at a glance
Both products work the same way. You type your business name, pick a style, and an AI-assisted tool shows you logo designs. Designing and previewing is free. You pay when you want the files. That is where the two split.

| Vector files (SVG) | From $60 Professional | From $65 Premium (PNG, EPS, SVG, PDF) |

Price breakdown: what each package really gets you
Fiverr Logo Maker: $30, $60 or $90
| What you get | Essential $30 | Professional $60 | Unlimited $90 |
|---|---|---|---|
| High-quality PNGs (original, transparent, grayscale) | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Edit the logo after checkout | No | 1 extra revision | Unlimited |
| Editable SVG vector files | No | Yes | Yes |
| Print-ready files and 256 x 256 favicon | No | Yes | Yes |
| Brand style guide (PDF) | No | Yes | Yes |
| Social media kit and Zoom backgrounds | No | Yes | Yes |
The $30 tier is a trap for anyone who plans to print. A PNG is a picture, so it blurs when enlarged, and Fiverr states that the logo cannot be edited after checkout. For a deeper look, read our guide to hiring a logo designer on Fiverr.
Looka: $20, $65, or a subscription
| Option | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Basic Logo | $20 one time | One low-resolution PNG file |
| Premium Logo | $65 one time | High-resolution PNG, EPS, SVG and PDF; color variations including transparent backgrounds; unlimited post-purchase changes; full ownership; lifetime technical support |
| Brand Kit | About $96 a year* | Everything in Premium plus 300+ branded templates (social posts, business cards, email signatures, letterheads, invoices), brand guidelines and partner offers |
| Brand Kit Web | About $129 a year* | Brand Kit plus an AI-generated website |
*Looka's pricing page lists what each plan includes but did not show the subscription prices when we fetched it. The $96 and $129 figures come from MakerStack (June 2026) and Logo.com's comparison guide (2026). Both also report that subscriptions are billed annually, with no monthly option. Check the checkout screen before you pay.
Where Looka wins
- Price for editable files. Looka Premium costs $65 and includes unlimited post-purchase changes. Fiverr's matching tier, Unlimited, costs $90.
- Cheaper entry point. At $20, Looka's Basic package is $10 below Fiverr's $30, though it gives you only one low-resolution PNG.
- Lifetime support and file formats. Looka lists PNG, EPS, SVG and PDF files in Premium, plus transparent-background variations.
- A real branding ecosystem. If you want business cards, letterheads and invoices that match, Brand Kit does that in one place.
Where Fiverr Logo Maker wins
- Style guide and social kit at $60. Fiverr includes a brand style guide, social media kit, Zoom backgrounds and favicon in the Professional package. Looka puts templates behind a yearly subscription.
- No subscription. You pay once for the package you choose.
- Designer-made templates. Fiverr says the library is built on original designs by its freelancers, rather than generated from scratch.
- A smooth upgrade path. If the tool is not enough, you can hire a Fiverr designer for a custom logo in the same marketplace.

Rights and trademarks: read this before you buy
Both companies let you use the logo commercially. Neither one is a safe choice if you plan to trademark it.
- Fiverr: the Logo Maker license is non-exclusive. Other businesses can end up with similar templates, so you cannot count on the design being unique.
- Looka: its FAQ says you have full copyright of the logo as a whole, but not of individual elements such as symbols. It also tells buyers who need a legally binding trademark to contact their local trademark office.
If you require a legally binding trademark and want to prevent others from using your logo, please contact the copyright/trademark office in your country. Looka Pricing FAQ, looka.com/pricing
If a unique, ownable mark matters to you, a custom logo from a vetted designer is a better path than any logo maker. This is general information, not legal advice.

Remember that Fiverr marketplace orders carry a buyer service fee. Our Fiverr fee calculator shows the total on any order. We could not confirm whether Logo Maker purchases carry the same fee, so check your checkout total.
Who should pick which
- Choose Looka Premium if you want vector files, unlimited edits and the lowest total price, and you can live without a ready-made style guide.
- Choose Fiverr Logo Maker Professional if you want the style guide and social kit included, you are fairly sure of your design, and one extra revision is enough.
- Choose Fiverr Logo Maker Unlimited only if you will keep changing the logo and you prefer Fiverr's templates.
- Choose neither if you need a unique logo you can trademark. Hire a designer instead. Our Fiverr Pro review covers when a vetted designer is worth the money.
A simple 15-minute test
- Type your business name into both tools. Do not pay yet.
- Save your three favorite designs from each.
- Show all six to two people who do not know which tool made them.
- Check which files you would need: print, website, social, or all three.
- Pick the cheapest package that includes those files, and screenshot the checkout page for your records.
Five mistakes to avoid with any logo maker
- Buying the cheapest tier by reflex. A $20 or $30 download can be a single PNG. If you need print or a website header that scales, you will pay again to upgrade or start over.
- Skipping the color test. Check your favorite design in black and white, and on both a light and a dark background. A logo that only works in color is hard to use on invoices, stamps and embroidered shirts.
- Ignoring file types. Vector files (SVG, EPS, PDF) stay sharp at any size. PNG files do not. Ask which files you will use, then match the package to that list.
- Forgetting that similar logos exist. Templates and generators reuse shapes and layouts. Search an image of your logo before you print 1,000 business cards, and consider a custom design if you work in a crowded field.
- Assuming a subscription is optional forever. Looka says you keep ownership of your logo even after a Brand Kit subscription ends, but the subscription is what pays for ongoing Brand Kit access. Decide whether you really need the extras before the first renewal.
What to look at before you click buy
Take two minutes on this checklist. It catches most buyer's remorse.
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Name and spelling in the preview | Looka says you can change everything except the company name after purchase, so fix typos first. |
| Which files the package includes | Pick based on where the logo will appear: screen only, print, signage, or all three. |
| Edit limits | Fiverr's $30 tier cannot be edited after checkout, and the $60 tier has one extra revision. |
| Subscription terms | Brand Kit plans are reported as annual-only and auto-renewing. Set a reminder before the renewal date. |
| Payment method | Looka accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal, not Discover. |
| Refund and download rules | Read the current terms on each site. One third-party review says refund eligibility on Looka subscriptions ends quickly once files are downloaded, so confirm it yourself. |
If you are still undecided
Run the free design step on both sites and shortlist three designs from each. Then decide using your file list, not your gut. If your list is "PNG for Instagram and a website header," either tool works and the cheapest download wins. If your list includes print, signage or merchandise, make sure you buy vector files. If it also includes a style guide and social templates, compare the Fiverr $60 package with Looka Premium plus the yearly Brand Kit.
And if nothing in the preview feels like your brand, that is useful information. A logo maker is a shortcut, not a strategy. A short brief to a human designer can save money in the long run when the brand really matters. You can see how much that costs in our Fiverr logo designer price guide.
FAQ
Is Fiverr Logo Maker better than Looka?
It depends on the package. Fiverr's $60 Professional tier includes a style guide and social media kit, while Looka's $65 Premium gives unlimited edits and four file formats. For editing flexibility Looka is cheaper; for extras in the box Fiverr is.
How much does Looka cost in 2026?
Looka lists a Basic logo (one low-resolution PNG), a Premium logo (PNG, EPS, SVG, PDF and unlimited changes) and Brand Kit subscriptions. Third-party trackers put these at $20, $65 and about $96 a year, so confirm at checkout.
Can I edit my logo after I buy it?
On Fiverr Logo Maker, not on the $30 tier, one extra revision on the $60 tier and unlimited on the $90 tier. On Looka, Premium includes unlimited post-purchase changes, and you can change everything except the company name.
Will I own the logo?
You can use both commercially. Fiverr's license is non-exclusive. Looka gives you copyright of the logo as a whole but not of individual elements such as symbols. Neither is a reliable route to a trademark.
Is it free to try either tool?
Yes. Both let you design and preview for free and charge only when you download your files.
Should I hire a designer instead?
If you need a unique mark you can trademark, yes. A logo maker is best for a fast, affordable start.
