Volza Review: TrustScore 7.1/10

Global trade data โ€” who ships what, to whom, at what price.

Volza aggregates bills of lading and customs data across 190+ countries: find real buyers, real suppliers, real volumes and prices. Deep data, dense interface, real cost.

The verdict: The serious tool for trade intelligence: if knowing your buyers' actual purchase history is worth money to you, it's worth the subscription. Everyone else should window-shop the samples and leave.

What you actually get

Search import/export records by product (HS code), company or route and you get actual shipment histories โ€” who bought what from whom, quantities, dates and often prices. For supplier vetting, buyer prospecting and market sizing it's the kind of primary data that replaces weeks of guesswork. The trade-offs: it's expensive for casual use, data lags by country (weeks to months), and the UI carries the density of its data. As a sourcing or export-sales instrument it earns its keep; as a curiosity subscription it won't.

Who it's for โ€” and who should skip it

โœ” Made for you ifโ€ฆ

Import/export businesses, sourcing teams and B2B sales teams selling to traders who need real shipment data.

โœ˜ Skip it ifโ€ฆ

Casual researchers and one-off lookups โ€” the subscription math belongs to people who'll use it weekly.

Pros & cons

What we liked

  • Actual shipment-level data โ€” real buyers, suppliers, volumes, prices
  • 190+ countries with HS-code and company search
  • Buyer/supplier prospecting that beats any lead database for trade
  • Market-sizing and competitor-shipping analytics built in

What could be better

  • Priced for professional use โ€” casual subscriptions don't pay off
  • Data freshness varies by country (customs data inherently lags)
  • Interface is dense; learning curve is real
  • Some records redact consignee names by country rules
